Thomas Smith is the founder of Thomas Smith Law Firm, part of Legacy Law Group, serving clients from Hot Springs and Little Rock, Arkansas. His practice centers on elder law and special needs planning, alongside trust, estate, and tax planning for individuals and families.

Thomas earned his B.B.A. in Finance from Henderson State University (2004) and his J.D. with High Honors from the William H. Bowen School of Law (2011). He completed an LL.M. in Elder Law and Special Needs Law at Stetson University (2021) and is currently finishing an LL.M. in Taxation at Villanova University.

As the father of a child with a disability, Thomas approaches this work with firsthand insight into what families are navigating. He has served on the Special Needs Alliance Board of Directors and its Public Policy Committee, helping shape disability-related legislation in Arkansas. He is also active on the boards of Lakeside School, First Step, Inc., and The Center for Exceptional Families.

Thomas lives in Hot Springs with his wife and son.
